UN Security Council condemns terrorist attacks in Barcelona, Spain

New York, Dhu-AlQa'dah 27, 1438, Aug 19, 2017, SPA -- The UN Security Council on Friday condemned in the strongest terms the barbaric and cowardly terrorist attack which took place in Barcelona, Spain, on 17th August 2017, during which at least 13 people were killed and at least 80 were injured, WAM reported. The members of the Security Council expressed their deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the Government of Spain. They wished a speedy recovery to those injured. In a statement issued today, the members of the Security Council reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.
