That’s all for today’s clockwatch, but you can join Taha Hashim for Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest. Thanks for your company and emails – goodnight. Match report: Everton 3-0 Bournemouth A strong win over Bournemouth moves Everton up to the 15th in the table. Andy Hunter was at Goodison Park. Match report: Burnley 1-4 Chelsea Dominic Booth was at Turf Moor to watch Raheem Sterling at his irresistible best. Match report: Man Utd 2-1 Brentford Here’s Jamie Jackson on the greatest day of Scott McTominay’s career. The updated Premier League table Full time: Fulham 3-1 Sheff Utd An expected victory for Fulham at Craven Cottage, though the match will probably be remembered for the horrific, career-threatening injury suffered by Sheffield United defender Chris Basham. Full time: Real Madrid 4-0 Osasuna Jude Bellingham scored the first two goals as the leaders Real Madrid breezed past Osasuna. Man Utd 2-1 Brentford Before he came on the field today, Scott McTominay had scored two Premier League goals since February 2021; he then scored two in five minutes to save United from humiliation. Football, eh. Crystal Palace v Nottm Forest is the late game. Taha Hashim has the team news from Selhurst Park. GOAL! Fulham 3-1 Sheff Utd (Willian 90+2) All over at Craven Cottage, where Willian has made it 3-1. Sheffield United stay bottom, Fulham jump to 12th. The final scores in our featured games (they’re still playing at Fulham and Real Madrid). Premier League Luton 0-1 Spurs Burnley 1-4 Chelsea Everton 3-0 Bournemouth Man Utd 1-1 Brentford Championship Sunderland 0-4 Middlesbrough Ipswich 4-2 Preston Leicester 2-0 Stoke Scottish Premiership Celtic 3-1 Kilmarnock Serie A Internazionale 2-2 Bologna Full time: Raith 1-1 Dundee Utd “Second half substitute Louis Moult rescued a point for Dundee United to keep Jim Goodwin’s men unbeaten in the league and top of the table,” says Simon McMahon. “Dancing in the streets of Raith tonight! And come on Scotland!” Full time: Burnley 1-4 Chelsea Chelsea win back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since March. They went 1-0 down, but Raheem Sterling was outstanding and played a part in all four goals. Real Madrid 4-0 Osasuna Joselu has missed a penalty for Madrid. Full time: Man Utd 2-1 Brentford Scott McTominay has given Manchester United’s season the kiss of life with two injury-time goals. He’s being embraced by absolutely everyone and looks pretty emotional as he takes it all in. Scott McTominay only came on in the 87th minute, and he has scored twice in added time to rescue Manchester United. Maybe he’ll be Erik ten Hag’s Mark Robins. A long free-kick was headed back across goal by Maguire, and McTominay timed his run to head past the keeper. GOAL! Man Utd 2-1 Brentford (McTominay 90+7) Scott McTominay has done it again!!!!! Full time: Everton 3-0 Bournemouth Everton end a desperate run of four consecutive home defeats by overcoming Bournemouth at Goodison Park. James Garner, the excellent Jack Harrison and Abdoulaye Doucoure got the goals. GOAL! Man Utd 1-1 Brentford (McTominay 90+3) Scott McTominay has equalised in added time! It was a very smart finish after a bit of a scramble in the penalty area, and it has probably saved Manchester United from a third home defeat in eight days. Man Utd 0-1 Brentford The offside – which was against Anthony Martial – has been upheld. They’re into injury time at Old Trafford, with Brentford close to yet another famous act of gianticide. Disallowed goal: Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Manchester United have had a goal ruled out for offside, though it’s being checked by VAR. GOAL! Fulham 2-1 Sheff Utd (Foderingham og 76) Another own goal, this time in favour of Fulham. Tom Cairney’s mishit long-range shot looped onto the bar, hit the back of Wes Foderingham and rebounded into the net. The latest scores in our featured games Premier League Luton 0-1 Spurs (FT) Burnley 1-4 Chelsea Everton 3-0 Bournemouth Fulham 1-1 Sheff Utd Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Championship Sunderland 0-4 Middlesbrough (FT) Ipswich 4-2 Preston Leicester 2-0 Stoke Scottish Premiership Celtic 3-1 Kilmarnock Serie A Internazionale 2-2 Bologna (FT) La Liga Real Madrid 4-0 Osasuna (3.15pm) GOAL! Real Madrid 4-0 Osasuna (Joselu 70) It’s a stroll for Madrid, who have won every home game this season. GOAL! Ipswich 4-2 Preston (Jackson 78) Kayden Jackson’s goal should secure another home win for Ipswich. As things stand, they and Leicester are already a long way clear at the top. GOALS! Real Madrid 3-0 Osasuna (Vinicius Jr 71), Celtic 3-1 Kilmarnock (Taylor 82), Leicester 2-0 Stoke (Vardy 79) Those goals should secure three home wins. GOAL! Fulham 1-1 Sheff Utd (Robinson og 68) Antonee Robinson has equalised for Sheffield United! Issa Diop pulled up lame but Sheffield United played on and Jayden Bogle’s cross was turned into his own net by Robinson. Real Madrid 2-0 Osasuna Jude Bellingham is now the first player since Cristiano Ronaldo to score 10 goals in his first 10 games for Real Madrid. That is outrageous. GOAL! Burnley 1-4 Chelsea (Jackson 75) Burnley are being taken apart. Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer combine to set up the substitute Nicolas Jackson for his third goal of the season. GOAL! Celtic 2-1 Kilmarnock (Watson 72) David Watson (not that one, or that one) has given Kilmarnock a chance of an unlikely point at Celtic Park. Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Twenty minutes to go at Old Trafford, where Brentford’s beefed-up defence are in control. United have had only one shot on target in each half. GOAL! Real Madrid 2-0 Osasuna (Yep 54) It’s Jude Bellingham again! He’s basically mastered football at the age of 20. This time he played a lazy one-two on the edge of the area and nutmegged the keeper. The latest scores in our featured games Premier League Luton 0-1 Spurs (FT) Burnley 1-3 Chelsea Everton 3-0 Bournemouth Fulham 1-0 Sheff Utd Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Championship Sunderland 0-4 Middlesbrough (FT) Ipswich 3-2 Preston Leicester 1-0 Stoke Scottish Premiership Celtic 2-0 Kilmarnock Serie A Internazionale 2-2 Bologna (FT) La Liga Real Madrid 1-0 Osasuna (3.15pm) GOAL! Burnley 1-3 Chelsea (Sterling 65) Raheem Sterling gets the goal his performance deserves, finishing superbly with his left foot after a through ball from Conor Gallagher. There was a VAR check for offside but the goal stands. Chelsea are heading for back-to-back away wins. GOAL! Fulham 1-0 Sheff Utd (De Cordova-Reid 53) Bobby De Cordova-Reid gives Fulham a deserved lead at Craven Cottage, finishing coolly after a nice move down the left. Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Marcus Rashford has been hooked again, along with Mason Mount. Their replacements are Antony and Alejandro Garnacho. To say United are desperate would be an abundant understatement. GOAL! Everton 3-0 Bournemouth (Doucoure 60) Bournemouth at home, approaching the hour mark: time for Abdoulaye Doucoure to score. This time it was a simple close-range finish after Jack Harrison’s header was blocked on the line. Bundesliga “Stuttgart, who were trailing by one against Wolfsburg, have gone ahead thanks to a brace by Serhou Guirassy,” writes Kári Tulinius. “The second was his 12th of the season, and he has now bagged one more than he scored all of last season.” Update: “While typing that, he has completed his hat-trick.” GOAL! Ipswich 3-2 Preston (Whiteman 52) Ben Whiteman has got Preston back in the game at Ipswich. We could end up with the third 4-3 scoreline of the season at Portman Road. Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Manchester United were unbeaten at home for over a year – they barely drew a game, never mind losing one – when Brighton visited in mid-September. Now they are facing a fourth defeat in five home games, all to teams outside the Big Seven. How on earth do you explain that? Man Utd 0-1 Brentford “If Ten Hag doesn’t work out, nobody is going to work out,” writes Christopher Faherty. “There is no superior systems-based manager out there at the minute who is available and would be superior, who you’d want to start from scratch with. The problems lie with the ownership.” GOAL! Burnley 1-2 Chelsea (Palmer 50 pen) Vitinho fouls Raheem Sterling right on the line of the penalty area, and Cole Palmer scores his first Chelsea goal from the spot. Man Utd 0-1 Brentford Christian Eriksen has replaced Casemiro at half-time. Apparently Casemiro had a bit of a shocker in the first half. “I don’t actually mean sack him,” says Francis Mead of Erik ten Hag, “I really mean best of luck turning it around.” Ah, my mistake! We all expected Jude Bellingham to win things with Real Madrid – La Liga, the Champions League, maybe even the Ballon d’or. But I’m not sure many people had him down for the Pichichi. As things stand, he’s the top scorer this season, one ahead of Robert Lewandowski, Alvaro Morata and Takefuso Kubo.
