Riyadh, Rabi'II 22, 1434, Mar 4, 2013, SPA -- The Foreign Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States called on Iran for full commitment to the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, and international conventions that stipulate non- interference in internal affairs, peaceful settlement of disputes, and non-use or threat of use of force. At the conclusion of its 126th session here yesterday, the ministerial council regretted in a final statement the lack of progress in the talks that have taken place recently in Kazakhstan between Group 5 + 1 and Iran, and Iran's lack of response to the diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the issue of its nuclear program peacefully. It commended the position of the Group 5 + 1 for not accepting Iran's demand to include the issue of the situations in Syria and Bahrain in any negotiations between the two sides, considering this demand as interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries and a sign of Iran's continued procrastination and lack of seriousness to reach a final solution that removes the regional and international doubts surrounding its nuclear program. --MORE 11:20 LOCAL TIME 08:20 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1084021
