The Council commended the efficiency and vigilance of security systems in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and their capabilities to thwart terrorist plots to destabilize the security of Bahrain and its stability, and praised their detection of a terrorist cell, and exposition of evidence and information that proved the involvement of third parties, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the establishment of this terrorist cell, and participation in planning, funding and training, stressing the support of the GCC countries for Bahrain in all its actions to protect its security and stability and to ensure the safety of the society, praising the cooperation and coordination between the security agencies of GCC States which have contributed to the detection of this terrorist cell. The ministerial council welcomed the recommendations of the International Conference on the Cooperation of the United Nations with the Centers for Combating Terrorism, which was held in Riyadh in February 2013, stressing that the fight against terrorism is a joint global responsibility and an integrative work that requires international efforts to deal with it to preserve the lives of the innocent people, protect them and maintain security and peace in the world. --MORE 12:56 LOCAL TIME 09:56 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1084068
