New Delhi, Rabi Al-Akhir 23, 1432, March 28, 2011, SPA -- Top interior officials from India and Pakistan began new talks in New Delhi Monday to discuss a range of issues of mutual concern. Pakistan Interior Secretary Chaudhry Qamar Zaman heads a six-member delegation for talks with Indian Home Secretary G.K. Pillai. "Such efforts between the two sides would enhance peaceful relations and promote people-to-people contacts," Zaman said at the India-Pakistan border Sunday on his way to New Delhi. The meeting of the home secretaries is expected to be followed by a meeting of the secretaries of commerce and water resources department officials between April and June. The foreign ministers are scheduled to meet in New Delhi in July, according to a report of DPA. --SPA 12:21 LOCAL TIME 09:21 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/878100
