Riyadh, September 20, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the programs of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 are proceeding on the course set for them before the outbreak of the novel coronavirus and achieving new accomplishments every day. The newspaper said that Saudi Arabia would not have achieved the successive achievements of its vision without its early announcement of war against corruption. The government has firmly stand in face of corruption and issued an important legislations and some supervisory entities that supported its anti-corruption campaign, the paper added. The newspaper said that anti-corruption measures in Saudi Arabia started by targeting some officials and those with immunity, and Saudi Arabia has proved to the world its path in comprehensive change and development. The distinguished performance of the employees of the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority translated in the message of thanks and appreciation expressed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, who motivated them to continue these efforts, the newspaper concluded. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that for more than seven continuous decades, Saudi Arabia has maintained its fully support for the efforts of the international community, represented by United Nations, to establish international peace and security. The newspaper added that Saudi Arabia is participating in the celebration of international community of founding the United Nations, and presenting its bright model of wise influencing policy and pioneering humanitarian and relief work.
