Saudi Press: Thousands of Iranian Accounts on Twitter Target Saudi Society

Riyadh, April 07, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that Oxford Internet Institute issued a study showing thousands of accounts being managed by Iran in the Arabic language on Twitter targeting the Saudi society. The newspaper noted that the study showed that Iran attempts, through more than 42 thousand accounts on Twitter participated in a coordinated manipulation by using the Arabic language, as well as English, French and Persian, to sow division in the society. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the advancement of Saudi stock market reflects reform procedures and economic improvement under the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The newspaper indicated that Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) recorded upward figures, surpassing the mark 9,000 , for the first time in almost 42 months.
