The Ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining the gains of development and potentials of countries in the region and their resources, and highlighting scientific, literary and historical contributions of the Gulf personality in the past and present, and implanting Gulf citizenship in the hearts of young people. The ministers approved GCC Cultural Activities Plan for the years 2015 - 2016 AD, consisting of ten main points, including the approval of the establishment of a training and qualification course in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2016 AD in the cultural fields for the interest of the GCC countries. They recommended to commission the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the preparation of a study on holding Gulf Cultural Week in one of the countries during the year 2015, instead of the cultural days which was to be held in the Australian city of Sydney.
